2. Admission conditions and house rules
VERA is a lesbian bar: a space made by and for lesbians, bi women, trans, non-binary and queer people. Anyone who comes with respect is welcome here, your friends too. These conditions are also posted at the entrance.
House rules
- Nobody here asks if you’re just friends. Nobody has to explain who they are, who they’re with or who they love.
- No photos or videos of anyone without their permission. Lots of people don’t want to end up online, and we respect that. If we take photos of the atmosphere, we ask first.
- Zero lesbophobia, transphobia, biphobia, homophobia, racism, sexism, fatphobia or ableism. Not seriously, not “as a joke”.
- No means no. No insisting, touching or following anyone who isn’t into it.
- If something or someone makes you uncomfortable, tell us at the bar. We believe you and we act: we talk to whoever we need to and, if necessary, ask them to leave.
Admission conditions
Entry may be refused, or someone asked to leave, if they:
- break the house rules or bother, harass or attack other people or the staff;
- show clear signs of drunkenness or drug use, or use drugs inside the bar;
- carry weapons or objects that could be used as such;
- bring in food or drink from outside;
- try to come in when the bar is full or outside opening hours.
Entry will never be refused on the grounds of sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, origin, religion, disability or any other personal or social circumstance.
- We don’t serve alcohol to anyone under 18. Entry for minors: [CONFIRMAR CON LA GESTORÍA SEGÚN LA LICENCIA].
- Maximum authorised capacity: [AFORO SEGÚN LICENCIA] people.
- Opening hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 18:00 to 00:00 (Friday and Saturday until 02:00).
- Official complaint forms (hojas de quejas y reclamaciones) are available on request.
3. Personal data
This website uses no cookies. It only asks for personal data if you request a table.
To see what people are most interested in, we anonymously count visits and some clicks (for example opening a dish’s photo or tapping “I want it”): we only store what was tapped, the language and the day, never who. That count is stored in Supabase (EU) and is never combined with any other data.
Bookings
- What data:
- If you book on the website: your name, email and, if you give them, mobile number and a note.
- If you book on Instagram: your name, your Instagram username and, if you give them, email, mobile number and a note. The person who runs our social media enters them in our system.
- What for: to manage your booking and reply to you: by email if you booked on the website, by Instagram direct message if you booked there. Your mobile number is only used to tell you about a change. We don’t send advertising.
- Legal basis: your consent and handling what you ask us for (GDPR art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b).
- How long: at most 12 months after the date of the booking.
- Abuse protection: to prevent mass submissions we keep, for 2 days at most, an encrypted fingerprint of the IP address the request came from. It can’t reveal your IP and isn’t used for anything else.
- Who processes them for us: Supabase (database in the EU) and Resend (sending booking emails), as data processors. If you book on Instagram, that conversation is also handled by Meta under its own terms.
When you visit, our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) records technical data such as your IP address to serve the page and protect it from abuse. Controller of any processing related to this website: the owner named above.
4. Third-party services
- Google Maps: the map only loads if you tap “Load map”. From then on Google may receive your IP and use cookies under its privacy policy.
- Instagram and Google Maps (links): when you follow a link you leave this website and those services’ terms apply.
5. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to [email protected]. If you feel they haven’t been handled properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
6. Intellectual property
